Bright White Orb Of Light

I believe you saw what you saw. I have seen bright balls of light coming toward me from my neighbours trees across our driveway.

Interestingly my sighting was on a hot and humid night and I live in an acreage estate with lots of trees and tall vegetation.

I had never heard the word "orb" or "orbs of light" before this. I too, wanted to share the experience and rang my neighbour. In the 20 minutes that she sat with me, nothing occurred. Shortly after she left, the orbs of light started again and continued for 15 minutes.

I could not explain this at the time, but when I discussed it with a visiting relative (and let's face it, this is not the thing you discuss with everyone, they would think you were nuts, she told me I had seen Orbs of Light. I know what I saw. They were balls of white light, some with a lesser intensity and size, that were coming towards me from my neighbours treed area.

They started off strongly and petered out some 10 metres from me. At no time did I feel frightened.

There are two households' power supplies running overhead in that area and I wondered if, the power supply, combined with the hot humid night, could have anything to do with it.

Here is my experience with the orbs. About 3 in the morning I woke up. I suffer from insomnia and am usually awake for at least 3 to 4 hours before falling back to sleep. As I was leaving to go to the livingroom to turn on the tv. I noticed That I couldn't see or focus my eyes on the upper corner of the bedroom. I thought to myself that that was strange and laid back down on the bed to let my eyes adjust to the light. The corner is hard to describe. It was the blackest black and foggy,cloudy. Difficult to focus on. All of a sudden a small ball of light with a white tail behind it came shooting out! Then another and another. 5 in all...darting around the room...so happy that they had made it in [that was my impression] and like you I didn't move because I knew I was seeing something out of this world and didn't want to scare them off. After zooming around for a minute or so I guess they saw that I was awake and could see them. They gathered above me and one of them shot down about 6 inches infront of my face while the others stayed above. I was able to see directly into the orb. It had grown to the size of a tennis ball.Glowing brightly and the inside was pure moving energy. Then after about 10 seconds it popped and one after the other,so did the other 4. Now here is, for me, the really strange part.I had only been up for about 15 minutes at that point and what I should have done after that experience, was jumped up, turned on a light, woken my husband up...something but, instead It was as if I had been given a tranquilizer and I passed out! The last thing I remember was looking over at the corner to see if the portal was still there.

And because of that I wonder if they were some sort of alien probes. At first I thought they were spirits but, have you ever heard of spirits putting you to sleep?

Now I see faint ones on occasion floating across the ceiling in my bedroom. I guess they are monitoring us humans.

I have only seen an orb once such as the one you have described, only the one I seen didn't blink in and out, it stayed solid the whole experience.

Our home was located on an acre outside of a small town. Surrounded by woods. One summer night my husband and I were outside on the back porch talking, when we seen a brilliant ball of light glide over the woods line in the back of the property. The light slowly glided in our direction came up aprox. 50 feet from us, then slowly curved past and to the left of us in the direction of the garage, where it elevated above it, then floated accross the road and up over the trees until we could no longer see it. The "orb" did not emmit a beam of light or shadows, as the light of a flashlight would do. It's solid light was contained within itself. I would estimate that it was slightly larger than the size of a grapefruit. No sound came from it.

Some time ago I was sharing the experience with my daughters about it, my husband listening. And I was shocked when he had said he didn't remember seeing it. My first thought was he most certainly did and how could not remember something like that. I specifically remember asking him what it was when it glided near us. His head even followed the direction it took. I KNOW he seen it! So, even though I have a witness, he doesn't "remember". I know what I saw. Can't explain it, but I know I seen it and so did he.

Oddly enough. I had an experience with a ball of light last night. I have been googling about it and stumbled on your blog. I was asleep and felt something in the room. It must have been around 3am or so...not too sure exactly. I saw a light under my eyelids and was trying to open them. I was in sleep paralysis and I got my lids open just enough to see the ball. Then my eyes closed again, I couldn't keep them open. I could hear the light making a humming sound very faintly. I then remember it hovering over me, b/c I could feel it and it went into my right ear. I know this sounds completely ludicrous! I am reading what I am typing and can't believe I am even admitting this on the internet. I have no idea what happened. I feel fine. But when the orb was going into my ear I could hear the change in the sound, like my ear cannal was blocked and sound of the orb was muffled like. So bizarre!!! I have never ever had anything like that happen to me. I have had some ghostly experiences in this very house, but nothing with an orb. Tv's turning off, lights coming on, items moving, or missing....not a ball of light trying to inhabit my body. wth?

I have been googling orbs after I had an experience this morning. I woke up before my alarm went off to the sound of my dog growling very low. He continued to growl for several minutes and then he started to bark. I got up and went outside to let him potty. I'm standing in the backyard with my robe on and a white ball of light about the size of a tennis ball came flying toward my face and then went up over my head and disappeared. I wish it had stayed longer so I could have gotten a better look. I went upstairs and told my husband about it. I hope I see it again. Its good to know I'm not the only one who has seen something like this.

I have seen something similar...inside my apartment no less. It was a blue orb and the size of a tennis ball, but it glowed. I thought I was hallucinating. A couple of things have occurred to me. Maybe crazy...but the blinking may actually be related to their ability to somehow "pause" time for us so that it just appears to be moving irradically or blinking. The other thing I thought is what better way to travel through space or a wormhole that as a tiny ball, forget about the huge galactic ships of Star Wars that would be running in to all sorts of problems relating to space junk, astroids, gravitational pulls, etc. A tiny ball...how safe!

i also witnessed something simular to this 20 years ago in winslow az. actually i was with two friends about 10 miles south of town around 10pm and one of my friends saw it first, we teased him thinking he was seeing things. but when we saw it we realised he was seeing something we could just never figure out what it was. what we saw was a white light move straight up and down over winslow then it would move horizontally from wislow to holbrook az. about 40 miles in 1 second then it would move up and down and then back to winslow once and awhile it would stop at joseph city about half way between winslow and holbrook. it did this for about an hour and a half before we headed to town to get a better look, but as we got closer to town the lights of the city blocked our view so i really dont know how long it did its thing. but this thing was fast and big. before i moved to az i thought like most people. things like this dont exist but now i have to believe dont i. well good luck on your search. PS have you ever seen the orb the queen of england holds in her hand during her corination?? also one of the egyption goddeses whares a round gold disc on her head, i am told this repesents the sun, but i wonder if it repesents somthing else as well. again good luck

I was sleeping the other day in my room and I just remember this very very bright white ball of light just coming at me so fast from either my ceiling or the window next to me but it scared me to the point where I was almost flung back by it because it woke me up from my sleep. It happened so fast I didn't understand what it was and it just went away. Crazy

My husband and I saw a baseball sized, perfectly round, not solid, pure energy orb out the driver's side windshield, kind of in front of us but to the left. It traveled with us at about 55 mph on a dark stretch of highway between Lewistown and Denton, MT., circa 1999. Like you... in the middle of nowhere. It just suddendly came down to our level (I saw it first, being the passenger and not having to concentrate on driving) and it stayed with us for several minutes as we drove and stared in awe and amazement and wonder! Mike slowed down and it slowed as well! We too had the feeling that #1. it had a brain, #2. it seeked us out and #3. it was some sort of probe. Your description of 'feelings' about what it was are identical to ours. I think this was communicated to us in a special way. I wish it would have stayed longer, but we watched it go upward to leave. We've not told but a couple of people about it. I've recently become interested in my ascension and have been spiritually awakened in preparation for 2012 which led me to this encounter of yours. I think we were sought out for a reason and we are now discussing it for a reason. Follow your heart!

i have also witness these white balls of light. at first i thought i was seeing things but later found out that my eyes werent playing tricks on me. when we moved into out house, we bought it off of a reverened. he held congragations meetings in the home that dealt with the church. we just got everything in and when it got dark i dont know what made me look outside but next to our house there is a tree and beside it were 3 white balls of light...again, i thought that i was seeing things. until just recently my son who's 22 said to me remember when we first moved in here...6 years ago...ive been wanting to tell you this but i didnt want you to think that i was crazy.. but he began to tell me what he saw out his bedroom window the night we moved in...the same 3 white balls of light floating in mid air..it seemed to travel in a pack..here all this time i thought that i was going crazy...what does this mean...any thoughts?

Hi, I experienced something similiar when I was 8 years of age I am older now but anyways It was sometime in December I just finished watching the How The Grinch Stole Christmas and then I went and looked out the window at 9:30 MST and Saw a ball of light. It lifted over my neighbors fence went across the backyard and went over the other fence.

Hey! I feel the need to share the experience I just had last night. My sweet Grandma just passed yesterday, I was so fortunate to have a beautiful goodbye with her a few days ago. My Grandma was a very spiritual person and she promised she would come to me. Last night, I truly believe she did, I woke up around 4am only to see a large ball of light hovering beside the bed. I closed my eyes (thinking I was dreaming or seeing things) only to realize the glowing ball was not leaving. It stayed for a few moments and the funny thing is, it was a peaceful feeling that came over me, I was not scared. This is the first time I have ever in my life seen anything like this and I embrace the experience with an open mind.

My question is: Are these orbs aliens? or are they a spiritual consciousness? or are they one and of the same? I had a similar experience when I was 13 (I'm now 59). I was walking with a friend one evening down a quiet street. She said "Look at the moon!" As I looked up I said "That's not the moon, that's a street light" then it was hovering over our heads.No sound and we were not scared. We loved it (we didn't talk till afterward)and it took off at a 90 degree angle faster than I can say. almost instantly out of sight. I feel some time elapsed because we got home very late and got yelled at, and we were surprised by that. No one believed us.

I am 56 now, but my experience feels like it happened only yesterday. I must have been about 5 at the time. I had been put to bed in my parents' bedroom, right next to where they were having a party in the next room. Mom had left a floorlamp on that cast a warm, golden glow about the room. I was listening to the music and laugter when I noticed 2 balls of blue light hovering about a foot and a half above and a few inches away from my right foot. They gave off little golden sparks all over; otherwise, they were completely still. I felt very peaceful and calm in their presence, and in the time it took me to blink, they were gone. They had only visited for a few minutes, but the experience has lasted a lifetime. I believe they were spirit entities, but why they were visiting me, I haven't a clue.

Hi! I had an experience this evening. We have a brick plat form in front of our fireplace, I was standing on it, trying to get warm. Then, a grapefruit sized white ball of light came out of no where and moved beside me up to my leg and then moved to my waist, after my eyes finally focused, it disappeared. A huge shiver with goosebumps went up my spine and down my arms. It happened so fast..... I know what I saw.... It was a weird, but exciting experience....I wasn't scared at all, so I don't get a sense that it was anything bad, but I don't have any idea what it was either.

DUDE!!! I have personally had an experience with the same exact thing, I was around 6 or 7 years old in front of my aunt's house, where these orbs appeared, however they were appearing right in front of me, I also remembered playing with it and trying to catch it, it was about the size of a beach ball, but the one I encountered made a sound, like a blip. Then teleported to a different spot. Chilled there for a second, then again, meanwhile I was trying to catch it...it was pure light, I couldn't catch it. I never forgot this experience and from that point until now, I've been obsessed with UFO phenomenon.

Back in 1993 in brooklyn new york I was walking down the street with a friend during a bright sunny day.

Out of nowhere a bright round ball of white light about the size of a golf ball came from above and bounced off my friends shoulder.

My friend looked at me and I looked at him.

I asked him what just happened and what that light was? My friend said to me "oh come on stop playing around"! "You just flicked a match at me".

I said what are you talking about? I did flick a match at you!( I don't smoke nor did I have any matches on me.)after telling my friend that I swear that it wasn't me that just threw a lit match at him I was looking around to see if I could spot this mysterious bright ball of light again and before you knew it it was back! Not even 15 seconds later I spotted it up in the tree tops more then 20 feet away in a tree maybe 25 feet high.I immediately pointed it out to my friend and we both stood there and watched it appear then disappear .it would stay in a spot for a few seconds then disappear for a second or two the reappear a few feet way.it was very strange it seemed to be "alive".then it was gone. The whole thing lasted for only a minute or two.

the orb was "bouncy" it came from above downward striking my friend in his sholder then disappeared for a few seconds then went back upward into the tree tops. No trail or prediction of movements. It seemed to just move by appearing in one spot then disappearing for a second or two then reappeared a few feet away in a dig Zac pattern.

It was a truly phenomenal experience! That may only happen once in a lifetime. And I am Sooool happy I was not the only person that witnesses it that day because nobody would believe it including myself. I would probably start second guessing myself and wonder if what I seen was just an illusion but no it was in fact real because my friend witnesses the same exact event at the same time.

I love telling my story to people and still get goose bumps and my hair On my arms stand up everytime I tell someone about my experience.

I around 20 years old when this took place in 1993.

I am currenly a Nypd police officer but was not at the time of the event.

I cannot explain what we saw that day but I do believe it was not a alien but intact a spirit.

The reason why I feel that it was in facts spirit is because me and my friend both had the same friend in common who was murdered the year before in 1992 at the age of 19.His name was Michael and he was our mutual friend and happend to live directly around the block from where the orb encounter took place.The person that I was with lived on the block where we saw the orb which was also directly around the block from where our mutual friend Michael had lived.

The reasons why I feel that the orb was in fact the spirit of our friend michael and not a alien or ufo is because of a few reasons. Proximity ,relation, and circumstances.

Both me andmy friend who saw the orb were both friends with Michael and the fact that the orb appeared directly around the block where Michael lived before he was killed. Also knowing michael and the way he was when he was alive he would be the mischievous type and as a spirit want to either scare us or send us a message that he was there watching us and playing with us that afternoon.

Or maybe it was a alien but I still think it was Michael's spirit.

Michael was stabbed to death in a bar fight in february of 1992 he was only 19.

We (My lady and I) saw something similar but indoors.

About 2am in the morning, she sat up in bed looking out the bedroom door into the hall way exclaiming there were whilte balls of light (golf ball size) moving back and forth in the hall and coming towards her. She was very frightened so I sat up and looked too but only saw a spark of light as if they did not want me to see them.

After the spark they were gone. Another night while returning to the bedroom from the bathroom I noticed to the right of the door a spark which quickly disappeared.

My lady told me she used to see this same kind of light at times as a small child in Exton England. Her parents joked her about it. Years later when visiting from Canada she went to the old house now owned by someone else and knocked on the door.

She asked if there was ever anythig strange happen in the house. The lady said yes and described the same light in the the upstairs bedroom which used to me her's.

Many would dismiss the current sighting as my lady is recovering from a concussion after a fall. I can attest that she is not seeing things as I too witnessed the after spark and a brief repeat of the spark one other time.

I was googling "flying white lights" and came across this blog.

I work in a Psychiatric Hospital in Crowthorne, England. I was on a night shift and I due my break. I took my break bang on midnight where I started walking out of my ward. There about 20 feet away, an Orb size of a golf ball flew past and disappeared down the road. Strange sight, but I wasn't scared or freaked out.

What I saw for the 1st time made me a true believer. I was at the cemetery tonight visiting my fathers grave. Since the night time is the only time I can go. I also prefer to go at night rather then during the day. I had my recorder with me and placed it on his head stone. I started talking. I heard a tap on my car window. I turned around and saw a bright light about the size of a basketball coming at me. As it was coming closer, ever so slowly. I was startle and I think I startle it also. It disappeared behind me where my recorder was. I got chills and goose bumps. I felt at peace as everything is ok. I reviewed the tape. I got a hello, a laugh, and I love you. Not asking for sympathy, just wanted to share my experience. I personally feel it was his spirit.

I was so happy to read about your experience as mine was so similar. I own a cabin in the woods in WV. In July of 2007, my boyfriend and I were in the second floor loft, about midnight, wide awake, just chatting before falling asleep. Well, I happen to love fireflies and thought that is what I saw out of the corner of my eye. It was fairly bright, so I thought is was right over us but when I sat up to look at it, what I saw was a round ball of light, about the size of a baseball or soft ball and it was hovering right outside the window. I stared in amazement until it darted to the left and disappeared from view of the window. It was not scary at all. I was not compelled to jump up and look out the window. It left me with a very calm peaceful feeling. I looked at my boyfriend and said, “Oh my God! Did you see that!” He said, “No. What?” My heart sank. I was so disappointed that he did not see it. I knew I know what I saw but it was so outrageous that without a witness, I really started to question myself. The next morning my boyfriend was teasing me in front of his sister who had slept in a tent beside the cabin. She softly said, “I saw it too.” She said initially she thought is was a firefly stuck in the rain tarp. She said it also left her with a calm peaceful feeling. I just found out last Fall that three of my other friends while at the cabin, experienced something similar. And I just found out, just this past weekend, the another friend experienced it as well. I had an experience up there just three weeks ago, but it was nothing like the first one. This time the white light was further away and higher up in the trees. Like the experience you had, it was a round and bright white light. It would go out and then appear about 5 or 10 feet away. It is too early for fireflies and it was too bright for a firefly. I think it is a spirit.

while out in pembrokeshire near the docks just of side road,my friend and i parked up for the night(he wagon driver) he had retired to his bed i dont sleep much or could been i was bored an unable to settle .anyway around 12 or 1am i was looking the the front cab window just looking at nothing really listening to the still of the night actually.i ddecided close the curtain an lay bk down again just couldnt settle so opened the curtains again anthere in front of the wagon were 3 orbs like silver yet clear i didnt know what make at first i thinking i could just have an over tied mind so rubed my eyes.just make sure like am i really seeing this,they were still there i sensed that they unsure hidding behind one another like hide and seek sort thing,they floated around not coming too close to the cab yet kept in my sights,i blinked they went into the hedge and vanished into thin air,in all the time that this was going on did i ever feel scared the answer is no i felt no fear at all.

I just happened to come upon this website after googling something about balls of light. I happen to have experienced the same thing about five years ago. I would say mine was spiritual(positively). I happened to have been in severe pain at the time and could barely do anthing around the house. Then something said to me "pray". I started a very intense prayer and had the faith that even though the pain was still there, it would go away. My eyes had been closed for about ten minutes, and then when i opened them up, there was this bright almost golden looking ball of light almost at the same level as the door knob. At first i though it was because my eyes had been closed for a few minutes, but i realized it was still there. It didn't fade away. It just seemed to hover and sort of bob up and down. The most amazing thing though, was that as soon as i set my eyes on it, the pain just went away. I mean the pain just went away like it was never there before. I felt so peaceful all over. Then it just dissapeared.

I felt i had to share this with you all. I don't think it is good to keep such to one's self. Yes, people might wonder if you are ok, but at least you know what you saw.

We saw 8 to 10 beautiful white orbs in the Chippewa Forest by Marcell MN Soccer sized balls of light. They came to the ground and the grass moved as one brushed by, so it must be composed of some substance?

About 2 weeks ago I had the EXACT same experience looking out my window in the middle of the night and watching lights. Yes, they did go on and off like a giant firefly or lightening bug but slowly, except that the light was white and not that yellow/greenish hue that the bugs have. My first thought is that it was a giant bioluminescent insect of some sort or maybe ball lightening. I watched them move up and down and side to side for awhile. After a few minutes there were others off to the side but the largest one moved up and down as much as 30 feet into the air and returning to about 4 feet above the ground. I hesitate to call it an orb as I think those don't flash, just move around. I was moderately dark, hot and humid, with no lightening or rain. I have no clue what it could be. Never saw it before.

I've seen an orb...i was smoking a cigarette with my brother, he had his back turned to the orb...of course he didn't see it. We were mid-conversation and once it came into my view I froze, I couldn't speak...almost like I was in shock. I was amazed, disturbed, and curious all at the same time. The object was 10-15 feet above me and maybe 10 feet in front of me (rise=10ft/run10ft approx). My line of vision was unobscured and it wasn't an internal projection of my mind. it was an external stimuli that stimulated my sense of sight. It appeared to be spherical but with a slight trail behind it's path of motion. The light was SO intensely white that it had a light blue hue about it, this may not make sense...but when I say intense white light, I don't mean painfully blinding because it was in fact gentle on my eyes...when I say intense I mean pure white energy, unlike any human developed light I had ever seen, not LED, not LCD...this ball appeared to be pure energy, and the light was almost pulsating. I say "almost" pulsating because it wasn't pulsating dramatically like a strobe light...it was a smooth, consistent input and output of energy. It was remarkably beautiful, no perceivable byproducts of exhaust, just raw, powerful, and smoothly controlled energy. It was absolutely silent...no noise at all. It travelled horizontally in a straight path of motion for about 10-15ft and the moment my brother noticed my attention was fixed on something behind him the light immediately extinguished and it appeared that the ball was still moving in the same path of motion but without the light on, almost like a silhouette (which I concluded to be an afterimage of the retina) but nevertheless, the incident was somewhat pivotal in my life in the regard that I occasionally feel like I am being watched. It's a bit eerie, yet peaceful at the same time. I consider myself to be a very objective person and to spare no details, I am also very scientific and rational in thought. What I saw that evening was inhuman and beautiful.

Twenty years ago I was a teen, living at home with my parents and little sister. My sister would sometimes stay the night in my room with me and she began complaining about seeing lights and bugging me about what they were. I dismissed this until one night when my cousin was spending the night with me. We had just switched off the lamp and suddenly a ball of white light (about the size of a tennis ball) zoomed through the room. We both saw it and lay there, watching, as every couple of minutes another orb would zoom by. Up to that point we were just fascinated and kind of giggling about it. Well, what happened next gives me chills to this day even as I write about it. I suddenly saw the outline of a person's torso and it was the blackest, black-on-black you can ever imagine. (Ingrid's account above mentions something similar, which really shocked me because I've never heard of anyone else seeing that.) Right when I saw the figure, or whatever it was, I felt cold all over, and just then, my cousin put her head under the blanket. It took all my courage to reach over and turn on the light. She and I just looked at each other, and then whispered about what we'd seen, terrified. I've never understood it, but have felt that the orbs were trying to get our attention focused on where the figure would be. It was not a benevolent experience, and there were other things that happened in that house at that time. This still haunts me to this day.

I also had an experience with a white bright softball sized orb. About 7 yrs ago I woke up in the middle of the night to witness the orb two feet right above me. As soon as I opened my eyes it seemed like it was surprised and took off straight to the wall beside me. As it hit went thru the wall it made a spark sound. I also remember it like if it happened yesterday. Like most people I didn't feel frightened.

I don't know if my situation is as similar to yours but I came across this when I was trying to figure out what I had seen. I saw it just yesterday in daylight on my way to work. It was a bunch of "orbs"/lights seemed kind of like they were glowing. They were moving slowly across the sky. I pointed it out to my mother and she as well witnessed it. I'm so curious as to what this was.

MAN WHAT YOU SAID IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAW WHEN I WAS 14. ME AND A FRIEND WERE LEAVING MY HOUSE TO HIS, WE GOT TO THE ROAD AND WAS turning right towords his house. naturally we looked for traffic and seen none. as we were walking, the trees ahead of us started to light up like it was day light. we stopped and turned around to see what was coming down the road because we looked for traffic and seen none coming, down the middle of the road CAME A GLOWING ORB ABOUT THE SIZE OF SOFT BALL, GLASS CLEAR AND WHAT SEEMED TO HAVE SMOKE ROLLING AROUND IN IT. IT WAS ABOUT 2 FEET OFF THE GROUND AND SILENT. IT STOPPED RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF US AND HOUVERD FOR WHAT SEEMED TO BE ABOUT 2 TO 3 MINUTES STANDING IN AHH!!WE STARED DOWN AT THIS THING IN FRONT OF US,AFTER SO LONG THE ORB JUST TOOK OFF DOWN THE ROAD IN THE SAME DIRECTION AND VANISHED FRIENDS BELIEVE ME WHAT I STATED IS TRUE AND DO HAVE A WITNESS MY FRIEND RONALD WILL BACK ME UP. It happened to me about 4-5 years ago. I was actually into the Orbs in the pictures and was trying to prove that they where not dust or bugs or anything else except what they appear. So I went into the forest, this was a short cut that would shave at least 30 minutes getting home after studying in college all day untill it got dark. Then I would have to cut threw this foresty path which is a (ESA). Anyways I carried my camera with me alot because I was always taking pictures trying to catch these things. I was fasinated with them obsessed almost because no one really likes to talk about it, I've tried photography teachers, art, electrian because I thought it had to be some sort of energy for the camera to pick it up. That's who they work right, reflections of light so something does have to be there. Yet I have never received a satisfactory explaination. So I would set out to catch more and see them a way no one could debunk. I got so many pictures of a few good Orbs that raise the eye brow when you look at them. I took over 1000s, going to cemetaries, woods, places that don't have any artifical light that could affect the camera. So getting used to the dark in the woods because this was my short cut dat and night. I would sometimes go off path into the deep to take pictures of the dark to see if anything would show these orbs. I always got something or another. But this one time, I will never forget it. I was going into the woods to take a few quick pictures of the darkness to see whats there. And let me tell you, it ain't easy going into a pitch black forest by yourself. I was a looking around on guard for maybe the boogie man. And then all of a sudden, I saw this hugh bright light from the corner of my eye. I turned around and bam. This White Ball of light was heading right towards me. It came from the trees, It slowly moved down and was lined up for my face. Just a reaction I dodged and the ball of light came within inches of my face. I felt like it was trying to hit my face. Then the Light just went back up into the trees. I was a little shaken because of the surprise but I grabbed my camera and took two pictures of this thing that I saw with my naked eyes. I think if it wanted to hurt me it would've, alone in the woods it had a really nice chance. Anyways so later looking at my pictures & there it was, it looked like any other orb picture nothing spectacular just the same old looking orbs that I always catch. But what I saw was amazing and I know I saw it because I got the pictures. I sometimes would tell people but they usaully laugh or say your nuts, although there are a few people who know about the orbs and think it's amazing as well. Yet these things are not explained by science and being in college I wanted answers. Still haven't got them. But I know what I saw and I have the pictures to prove it if anyone would even believe me, it's turned my whole life upside down. Because I know what I saw yet people act like its impossible to see these things. At first I thought it was a spirit or something but with all the UFO sightings videos my experience looked like something simular to these things. I'm thinking maybe it's alien technology and we think of it as spiritual or holy like magic. But whatever it was I saw it and will never forget it. What I saw was a ball of light, it was so bright the center you could not see through it, but the edges where transparent and could see through it. It was the size of a small basket ball or a little bigger than a soft ball. As it flew by my head I heard this humming sound like electricity sound like put your ear to a telephone pole and thats how it kind of sounded, but i only heard it as it past my ear on my left side it was like dodging a punch. So now, years later I started getting these skin tags on my left side of my shoulders neck and face. I never thought anything of it and would just rip them off. Then out of one of these areas this weird looking wart like a skin flower started growing out my face. It would sometimes turns white, red, go darker than my skin tone, it would open with the sun or water. It was pretty gross to be honest everyone was always saying how gross it is and I should get it removed. So I just ripped it off can't take al the comments anymore, people saying it's a wart, it's contagous, the doctor didn't know right off the bat he said it looks like a wart but i never got it examined, I just ripped it off and it came off like ripping of pedals from a flower, opened like a flower when the sun came or rain. I feel like it came from that thing getting so close to my face. I wasn't grossed out by them white wart flower things on my face but people where starting to look at me strange so I ripped it off. It was so strange because I never ever even get acne or any type of warts my whole life even my family. I really felt like that thing that grew on my face was because of this thing. I will never know but now i got a little scar and nothing has grown back yet so far. I think my skin flower is gone. All this really bothers me because first no one even believes the story, then I got a wart looking thing that grew on my face and people think its a virus. When there are no real answers anyways. It's all think. Anyhow I know what I saw and what happened to my body after, it changed. I felt really cool when it turned white, because I'm black skin toned. Imagine this white spot on a black guys face. To me it was cool, but to everyone else it was gross, so to stop them from gagging i ripped it off. But I feel like I lost something that won't be explained. Who knows, maybe I just got a white wart on my face that acted like a flower. It could happen, but just hasn't to me untill this thing in the woods. So, forget the wart thing, maybe it's natural maybe not I'm just keeping an eye out for it to see if it returns. Theres more to say but I spare your guts. Anyways so my pictures, I got so many wierd things in them, but this one time I saw it with the naked eye and it looks like any other orb picture. So, I took the pictures and started playing with the effects and colors. I made the pictures go completely black and slowly started adding light to it. The first thing you see is the ORB! I'm talking at like 15% the orb is visable, but everything else is black. Slowly I add light and when I get to around 40%, you can start to see the trees and leaves and what not. But the Orb is visible way before anything else. Thats how bright it was that even if I darken the picture it is the first thing you see and the last. This thing was bright but not so bright to blind me, strange. Anyways that's my story. I saw a bright ball of light, it almost touched me just missed my head and I got two pictures off it. The wart thing came years after but it all came on me where that thing came close to me, my left side of my face and neck. I'm always looking for answers. I'm stuck between a spirit orb or a ufo. The natives Ojibway tribe is familiar with such a thing. They have this thing they call it a sweat lodge. Where they apparently see them all the time inside when doing the chants and praying to their ancesters. So this is as far as I have gone with it. Now I even talking on here because I want people to know, I saw that White Ball of Light.

Man, I could probably relate to all these stories, the one about christmas. My woman & I were going to bed I remember the date dec 26. And we both saw these wierd lights like sometimes streaks sometimes orbs, they where green red white, going in and out of the ceiling and walls, even in and out of the t.v. It was pitch black around 12:01am. It's strange because there are many tales the pegans have that the spirit of baal is welcomed into your house if you decorate a tree like the christmas tree on christmas night. How ironic we saw these things and the colours appearing disappearing into walls and objects and reapearing over our heads for about 30 minutes to an hour or so. Then it just stopped never happened again like that just on that night with the time, strange how the story goes with santa and all to leave out food and comming in from the fire. The colours are something I remember very well. Another time we were in bed. And with my previous experience in the woods I am very aware of these Orbs now so I am so into it and always looking for wierd things in the night sky and love taking pictures and examine them. I could say that looking fir these things has become sort of like a hobby once upon a time not so much anymore I'm just comming back to it again. Anyhow, this night we were in bed I was almost in a deep sleep when my wifey was shaking me screaming at me that there is a light outside our room she was almost in pantic mode she was scared the way she was trying to get me to wake up. It was like the Orbs that you can see at night if you watch the stars on a clear night, anyways another story if you dont understand. Anyhow this Ball of light was so bright it lit up the room a bit just floating outside our window on the second floor. Still till this day I can't believe me reaction to it. Me so into this stuff with the Orbs I mean I've spent 1000's of hours looking for these things and I didn't even budge. I just looked up at it and saw it hovering outside the window and told her it's probably a plane light thats really bright and just reflecting in our room because we have a airport close by and see many planes go over the house at times. And then I just went back to sleep. What was wrong we me. I just saw a Orb hugh light in front of my second floor window and just turned over and went back to sleep and dismissed it as a plane! I can't believe I did that. And even say that, in order for a plane to be shining it's lights in front of our window I think it would be comming through our house. There is only a few meters to the next door house. A plane couldn't even fit anywhere near our place safely or silently because I dont remember it making any noise when planes shake the house sometimes which the noise going over. I can't believe my reaction and response. I feel like I left my wife hanging if you know what I mean. I should have jumped out of bed and grab the camera or something or at least be awake to see it out. But I just said it's probably a plane and went back to sleep. Unreal. So I figured my neighboors would have seen the light and ask them it was late at night I figured maybe they saw something but they didn't. I was pretty late at night they where probably sleeping but I thought they could've woke up but they didn't see nothing. Now, years later. I talk about it with my wifey because we have seen many thing together but this one time, she doesn't remember. I can't believe it, she woke me up in panick mode shaking me grabing the blackets saying there is a light outside our window! Babe wake up, and when I did I just looked, said it's a probably a plane and fell back asleep. I wonder what happened that night. She doesn't even remember it. I remember it like yesterday even opening my eyes from my sleep and seeing this glowing ball outside my window, yes it was there. But how I reacted and her not remembering it has got to be the strangest thing. It makes me sort of worried. She has even had these wierd bruises on her body like three little bruises in a triangle formation on her butt checks and doesnt remember how they got there. I know how bad that sounds but it's true, this has been happening to me alot. Watch the skys to see the UFO orbs that fly at night, I've seen them in the day time too, they are silver colour, I've seen them more than once in the daylight, at night they just look like a star flying but it's not a star, satalite or a plane. I have good experience with viewing at of these since I watch the sky at the time I could tell the difference very fast now. But everything is really still unexplained. Life is fasinating I guess, and I will keep looking for answers untill I find them. I got so many stories, it's taken me about five years to open up. I've gotten used to peoples response to the point I don't even care if they believe me anymore. I told you my story, take or leave it. You won't find them on the news.

i have had many creepy experiences before... two of which with the same exact thing you described.. i remember the first when i was little, and i was outisde in our backyard with my sister and two friends. Suddenly this white ball was in the sky, and i stared at it in amazement. it was just all white--like a blank spot floating around in the sky. it flew in a pretty straight line across the sky, and at one time it was right next to the sun, like a second sun. i pointed to it, asking what it was but nobody else saw it. being so little, i just forgot about it. but then, when i was around in fourth grade, i was the only one who couldnt go to sleep (as usual, because i was a VERY scared child all the time, ever since the day i was born) and i looked over in the corner of the room, and saw a white ball floating straight up and down. it was completely white, and i stared at it, not scared, but curious as to what it was. i watched it float to the top of the ceiling, fade away, and then appear in the middle of the air again, doing this for around ten minutes before it just diappeared. i was shocked, and i got up and ran to the livingroom, and saw my dad sitting up watching tv. i told him what i saw, but he got mad, called me crazy and told me to go back to bed...

one time, my little 2 year old brother ran upstairs, and my mom ordered me to go and get him. i ran up there, and saw him sitting in my room. he looked at me, and said, "Where'd the guy go?" i ignored it, because i knew that he was little and had an imagination, like all kids.

"What guy?" i had asked half-heartedly, because i didnt think much of it. i picked him up, and we started to walk through the halls. suddenly, he gasped and pointed at the wall.

"That guy!" he yelped. suddenly realizing how weird this was, i hurried down the stairs. a few nights later, my mom was talking about how he'd woken up in the middle of the night, screaming about a guy who was going to come. he'd sat on the couch, at the very end near the wall, for four straight hours, staring blankly at nothing and once in a while talking about the "guy" who was coming.

its been around two months, and he still mentions this guy... plus one time i was in the pool playing marco polo with my sister, and i was Marco. i wrapped my arms around flesh, thought that i got her and opened my eyes. turns out, she was on the other end of the pool.

but still, those white orbs were so facinating... i wish i knew what they were... such a mystery to me...

My mother passed away April 30, 2010. On the evening of July 8, 2010 I couldn't sleep and got up and laid down in my family room recliner. This was about 12:30 to 1:00am. I was restless and was just thinking about getting to sleep when I saw a perfectly round ball of bright white light on the ceiling. As soon as it knew I noticed it the light began to flitingly cross the ceiling making its way towards me but never leaving the ceiling. It landed and stayed inside my ceiling skylight and hovered there for I would say another minute till I turned the light on and then back off but it was gone. Before my mother died my sister and I had asked her to give us a sign that she was ok on the other side and I truly believe this was her letting me know. I never saw that light again.

I AM 54 YEARS OLD,WHEN I WAS KID,ABOUT 7 OR 8 TILL I WAS 15 YEAS OLD.I WOULD SEE A BALL OF LIGHT THAT WOULD APEAR ALL MOST EVERY NIGHT.IT WOULD BE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A BASE BALL, AT TIMES AS BIG AS A BASKET BALL. I REMEMBER BEING AFRAID WHEN I FIRST STARTED SEEING IT.AFTER A TIME I SEEN IT SO OFFTEN, I GAVE IT A NICK NAME (SNOW BALL).IT LOOKED LIKE WAS ROLLING ALL THE TIME.WHEN I WOULD GO TO BED BEFORE I COULD GO TO SLEEP IT WOULD JUST APEAR OVER MY BED OR IN A CORNER OF THE BED ROOM.AT TIMES I WOULD JUST WATCH IT FOR A LONGTIME,OR UNTILL I FALL TO SLEEP. IT WOULD ONLY APEAR TO ME.I TRIDE TO TELL MY MOM WHEN I FIRST STARTED SEEING IT,BUT SHE WOULD SAY IT,S NOT ANY THING.WE MOVED FROM THIS HOUSE AND I NEVER SAW IT AGAIN.AS AN ADULT I HAVE EXPERIENCED A FEW STRANGE THINGS,BUT NEVER THE BALL OF LIGHT.

Omg! I just witnessed something similar to what you saw! I even captured it on video tonight and I woke my mother up to see it for herself. Not to think I was going crazy. You are not alone in this! I've never experienced anything like it in my entire life of 44 years! At first I thought it was the moon, but it was way to close to be that. And it was so bright, I mean bright white with almost a blue luminous hue around it. It was barely noticeable really. Then suddenly it slowly faded away into the darkness took about 12 minutes. But I saw it in the sky for about 30 minutes. I was mesmerized and in awe of what I was witnessing! I still can't believe it. This happened in northern NJ. West Milford Twp. My footage is on YouTube. Happened at 1:23am on November 5, 2011.

my boyfriend and I have an intense spiritual connection and we have seen "lights" together. seems like some form of shared consciousness...we were camping the first time..and were laying there silent but enjoying each others energy and all of a sudden there it was..a perfect ball of light..it floated around the side of the tent..we watched it threw the netting of the tent in awe..we didnt speak or move..then it just floated away..we were completely in shock about a month later we were in a field laying on a blanket and this time it came from above, seemed to be out of nowhere..it floated across us and disappeared..we have thought maybe this is love. Love in pure form of energy.

On August 19, 2010 I was at Dorney Park with my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter at the time. At around 9pm, my son convinced me something was flying in the sky doing "loops" and "flying all over". My daughter just watched and said nothing. I could not see anything. Frustrated with me, he pulled me by the arm towards a Stree Lamp and from above the lamp zoomed a gold orb. It seemed "reactive" to me seeing it. It zoomed down towards, made very sharp turn maybe about 70 degrees and then flew off into the landscaped area. Ever seen tinkerbell flying through the woods really fast in movies. That is pretty comprable. The orb looked like the golden snitch. It was solid gold. It did not look like light. A few mometns later, my son saw it again in a bush behind me. As I turned to see it, my son said it took off.

On Thursday evening of Nov. 10, 2011, I was watching the monitor of my security camera and a ball of white light flew onto the screen and did acrobatics. Now I was just setting the camera up and was so blown away I didnt event think of recording. I was actually working on setting up the motion sensor. My kids were floored. They called it an orb. They went to the windows and saw nothing. Then I went outside and saw nothing. But they said on the screen the orb was flying all around me. On the infrared screen, this looked like a pretty dense ball of white light with a tail like a comet.

I would love to hear some feedback on this. FYI I come from a Reiki and meditation background. Also, my psychic awareness has really expanded.

the balls of light are vehicles, one person inside square chair in front podiom in back turned sideways, the person flying it is not a light being as some people think, he's as solid and real as we are, long thin chin, long head, finger nails long and like bear claws. I noticed very clean robe and hair trimed perfect, I watched him work for a short time, when he noticed me he was startled and could'nt find the right button to send me back to the driveway, when he found it he looked at me smiled and pushed it like he was relived, suddenly I'm back outside and the ball of light joined his two friends and sped off. I just experienced something similiar last night watching my three year old daughters t.v. monitor, the camera is above her bed. I first witnessed a dark orb float across the camera lens across the t.v. monitor, then shortly after I witnessed a perfectly white bright round orb float dancefully across the t.v. monitor. i have not seen this before and i have had this monitor since she was born. keep note I lost my grandpa in 2005 to cancer and my first daughter at the age of 14 months old to unknown natural causes in march 2007.

My experience was so much like yours. 22 years ago, I stepped outside (I honestly don't remember why, but thinking back now, I'm wondering if it was noetic, which is another story.), turned my head to the right and saw a white orb. It was about the size of a softball and hovered about eight to ten feet above me. It was at an angle, not directly above. It made no sound, it didn't quiver or blind me. I never looked away while slowly turning my body to face it. I didn't feel afraid or threatened. I was awed by it since it just appeared instead of gradually coming from a distance. I was so calm and at peace. I got the feeling it was a sentient entity, looking at me. That may not be the case literally, but I trust my intuition. It stayed there for a couple minutes before disappearing. There's a very fine line that makes me ask did it just go poof, causing me to blink or did it go poof when I blinked? I'm still wondering why me, because I don't think it was out there flying around to see what was new in the world. It seemed to come to me by choice. That sounds pompous, but it's what I thought. I don't know what I'm supposed to do, if anything. It may have been checking out something different, and when I came out curiosity took over. Reading about your experience sent a strong shiver up my spine. Have you seen the movie Phenomenon w/John Travolta? He looked up at the sky and saw a white orb falling toward him, which then stopped quickly a few feet away before it poofed out. That's the best way I can tell what I saw, but mine didn't move or fall as far as I know. It was just there, and then it just wasn't.

I did see a ball of light as bright as lighting but did not shine light out on to ground like a light it was contained in this ball about 14 feet from me and about 12 feet in the air. This was between 10 and 11 pm may 6th 2011.Im not sure what it was but think of it often and even go look for it at my door alot.I spoke to my nefew who was watching tv and it shot away to the left with lighting speed and was gone.i dont know if it was from space or spirit. all i know is what i saw.

I don't know the time of night however a ball of light roughly about the size of a volleyball appeared in the stairwell coming up the steps at our home in Cleveland Heights,Ohio. I don't know what caused me to wake up to see this I can only guess that it disturbed me somehow. I could see it and move my eyes towards the orb, but I could not turn my head, or speak to wake my wife. The ball of light slowly came up from the landing and hovered about five feet off of the floor then continued on to my daughters area. I could not move to raise up out of the bed. I felt like the day after a big football game not being able to move my body, but without any pain. I was not afraid. I was startled and felt helpless. In later years I mentioned what happened to my daughter and she said she had seen it also that night. From time to time in that house I would see something dark and cloudy about the size of a young adult out the corner of my eye. It would move very swiftly out of view. I saw this over and over again and came to look for it to happen. I put my favorite chair in a position that I could have better site lines. It was non threating so far as I could tell. Like having a mouse in the house.oh well...

I am a 50yr old woman and recently have had some very unexplainable things happening to me. I have always been God loving but remain open minded to other views. One of my recent happenings took place in broad daylight I was in front of my home with my 2 dogs and I saw this circle of energy, the size of a large christmas ornament with this silver and gold mass inside. It was luminous and floated, I tried to reach out for it thinking quickly maybe it was a large soap bubble, but it was out of reach. I then watched as it progressed outside my mudroom window on the outside of the house and tapped at it and then continued on to the second floor window. Franticly I wanted to grab a camera and I also looked around to see if anyone happened to be going by our little dead end road. I watched amazed as it slowly floated over my roof. I have been pondering scientific explanations and paranormal ones to no avail. But I have had more strange encounters and wished I had some info on this, thank all.

I was driving out in the country heading over to a friends house. This was when I was about 17 in Jackson County Indiana. I'm now 37. I was borrowing my mom's car and my sister was riding with me. I'm glad it was convertible otherwise we wouldn't have seen as well. It was dusk and the sky still had plenty of light, but then it got much brighter. High in the sky to my left about a mile away was a bright ball of light falling to the ground. The light from it was so intense but it didn't hurt to look at. It was a perfect sphere of light probably smaller than a car. Immediately I thought it was an amazing shooting star but then it seemed to slow it's rate coming straight down to a halt above the ground. It also wasn't multicolored like a shooting star or have a tail. It was a pure bright bluish-white light so intense. I can only compare it to a LED light but much bigger and brighter. I was trying to stay on the road while looking at the light and driving. In the instance I was glancing at the road, my sister says, "Whoa, did you see that?" I said see what. She said it took off so fast zig-zagging in the sky and left a trail. All I know is it was gone when I looked back at the area it was in. I wish I had stopped the car to see it the entire time. Years later, this year my sister calls me up to watch the Lights Over Jerusalem videos on youtube. It was the same size and moved down in the exact manner as the videos. Although I don't know if it's the same color or as intense as the one my sister and I experienced. Neither my sister or I take meds, nor do we have a family history of mental illness or schizophrenia. I have a feeling that some of the stories above are from crazies and other stories are true :-) I am a scientist. For years I have contemplated what the light was. I do no think they are aliens. I think they are spiritual beings, especially after hovering around the temple mound in Jerusalem. This is only theory...I'm planning on writing a book someday about a possible theory on these lights.

I've had many experiences, and people have a hard time believing it. I could go on for days. Anyways it motivated me to raise awareness. Because from talking to people about this experience I slowly learned people really don't "know" much of anything. Anyways check out my videos. I wish I had a camera on me all the time when I have these experiences, as you can see that is wishful thinking. At first I thought it was a spirit, the more I learn about it the more I am not sure. I think it was a UFO. But really I will never know untill people start to talk about it and identify them. Maybe they are the same thing with different just names who knows... And to the commenter zane... I find your comment interesting because I have a photo that looks like that, a little person in a window or something. But you can only see the little image of a person in the window if you add alot of effects, like edge detection times 6. Then it actually looks like there is a little humaniod figure inside. But then again, people would say it's just the pixels. Very interesting comment made me think of that picture I have that I played with the effects with. Oh well, I hope we will find out one day what the truth really is! See my video.

I too had an orb experience. About 1 month after my husband and soul mate was killed in a motorcycle accident, I was mad at him, yelling and cursing him for leaving me here alone! I must have been yelling for about 5 minutes when out of the corner of my right eye, I saw bright white and yellow balls dropping from my ceiling. I thought I blew a blood vessel at first so I calmed myself and continued to look straight out into the forest through our large picture windows. The lights kept dropping. I never looked at them directly because I was afraid they would go away, they were giving me such a feeling of peace!! I felt as if my husband was all around me!!!

I saw a very bright light today in or with the corner of my eye... but im sure its something common or a non-severe condition i have in my eye. i will talk to my ophtalmologyst ASAP. My point being, im sure this is something of the sort, and even if not, dont get too winded up about it, just stop asking questions and let things be, no need to always have an answer, mostly its always irrelevant. some things cant be explained (yet) and some things dont need to, MAYBE a little of both. Just be happy guys :)

We live in the Tennessee mountain woods, and recently my mother was outside at about 11PM having her usual smoke. She saw a ball of light coming up our neighbor's hill near our fence that was almost as bright as a street lamp, did not cast it's light on the trees around it, and was 12 or so feet in the air. There was no sound. Her dog tucked her tail and ran for the house whining and growling, while my dog snarled and rammed the fence towards it. The light went out a few yards after being charged.

A few days later, I was outside playing with the dogs at night until they froze and stared into the woods. I looked up as one of them placed herself between the fence and myself, and a very bright light, exactly the same (all details) as what my mother had seen, was bobbing around coming our way. Being very protective of my home, I walked up to the fence (dogs would not follow) and told whoever it was to go away in the hopes it was from a hunter. But the light simply stopped, stayed there for a few minutes, lowered to the ground and faded into nothing.

Going back out there tonight with a chair to see if anything happens.

Hi, I experienced a similar oddness last night, I was just about to fall asleep when eeriness fell over me, sort of like someone coming into the room, when the lights are out, when I turned around while crouched on my right elbow, I saw two “Smokey” white “balls” one about as large as a basketball and the other a baseball, the smaller one behind the bigger one, what was odd is that it “felt” as if they were there for me, sort of staring at me for about a 20 seconds the “balls” and I were having a staring competition then very slowly both balls moved slowly away from me and sort of “exploded” gracefully into nothing! And they were gone! I was not asleep or “in paralysis” as some people describe, I was awake saw it experienced it and when they left I stood up and walked around my house and grabbed a glass of water, and that was that.

this happen prob 25 years ago...i had gone to bed. dont remember if i were asleep.

my daughter was up studying... i guess it was 3 or four am,, when she came into my bed room and got me up.... saying there was this bright light on her window....... i got up and went and peeked out the blinds... what i saw was this big ball of light aganist the side of house besides the window...like it was stuck on the wall... i stood there looking.. and all of sudden it went out.. and i saw it across the drive way. it went out again. and it lit up again several feet further. i think it did this a total of five times. each time it lit back up it seem smaller....THIS .. I CALL IT A BALL OF WHITE SILVER LIGHT... THERE WAS NO GLOW.. JUST DARKNESS AROUND IT.. IT JUST WENT OUT AND CAME BACK ON ...

DONT KNOW IF I DESCRIBE IT RIGHT OR NOT..

IT WAS VERY STRANGE...

ITS ALSO STRANGE THAT ... I JUST STOOD THERE AND LOOKED AT IT.. LIKE I FORGOT EVERYTHING ELSE..MAYBE FROZEN...

i had an experience about 20 years ago while living in florida... middle of the day i was in the backyard playing with my dogs. i looked to my right and by pure chance i happened to focus on a softball sized floating orb... it was not a light but a perfectly round orb that i could see through but i caught the edge of it in my vision...whatever was behind it in my line of sight was perfectly visible as if it was not there but it was... it moved slower than a walking pace about 8 feet high. i hollered for my gf to come look but she could not see it..she could not focus on it.. it crossed the yard, went around a fruit tree and then over our fence and into the front yard... i hopped the fence to follow it. it got near the street and then went straight up till i could not see it anylonger...

I was living in a christian group with about 12 other women in Benwheeler TX. Small town n nothing but trees... my friend n i were outside around the of the big barn we lived in when we saw three globes of light at the top of the three tops. They were swinging in and out through the trees at a faster speed... when it comes to things like that i run n ask questions later lol which iz exactly what i did... my friend just sat there hollering girl what ithat lol.... i don't know what it was but i dont believe in aliens... if i did i wouldnt be able to sleep at night!

I have seen something like this. I live in colchester Ct and me and my two cousins were outside very late at night. We looked in the woods at the tree line and there were at least 50 balls of lights just dancing around at least 15-20 feet above the ground. The balls of light moved slow in diff motions up down and sideways. We had stood there and watched this for 20 mins. One of use decided to get the video camera and two of is stayed outside to watch. As soon as my cousin went in to get it they all started to disappear slowly. When he finally came out they were gone.

When I was in high school, I wanna say it was the summer of 2003 I had a similar experience. I was in my parents living room, it had to be around 11-1 that all this happened because I remember thinking its not even that late for weird shit like this to go down! But I was watching tv and the tv was in the corner of the room and we had a big window to the left. Well I kept finding myself getting distracted and looking out the window at the sky, a one point I was distracted to a particular part of the sky, this star was the same size as the others but super bright, eh I thought nothing of it, but I kept looking over at it, so after awhile I was so drawn to it that I stood up, walked towards the window and it appeared to be dancing, i thought hah dancing star, so I sat on the ledge looking at the tv but this star kept distracting me so I was like okay I'll watch it, and at first it was just little side to side vibrating movements, I didn't think much of it but at the same time i was so mesmerized by it, I figured maybe my eyes were playing tricks at me because I was looking at for a good amount of time, then it did this little hop skip and jump type movement, and i kind of giggled, I don't know why i thought it was funny, it sorta bounced around a little more, I felt like it knew I was watching and wanted to entertain me, but then it started getting larger and brighter then it would shrink and so on and so forth, then it starting moving not jumping, it was moving all around in a real slow beautiful motion, but it wasn't like a shooting star movement it had this clear/see through squid like tentacle sort of thing flowing behind it. You know how pretty squid movements can be in the deep dark ocean, it was like that, swimming in the sky, then it started getting closer to me, and then it would got back then it would float a little to the right and closer to me and then go back and float back and forth, it seriously seemed like it knew I was watching and it was fascinated but also a little resistent, this went on for awhile but the whole time i couldn't keep my eyes of it, then finally it came towards me but it didn't stop it was a bright light getting closer and closer and closer to me, I was paralyzed, I wouldn't move, I couldn't blink, I don't even know if I was breathing I could only feel my heartbeating so fast like, I was petrified, I had so many thoughts going through my mind, I was never a religious person so I thought maybe this was God, but what if it wasn't? What if it was going to go through the window and into my body? I didn't know want to take the risk of finding out but it didn't seem like I had a choice because everything was happening so fast and I was paralyzed, I thought for sure I had to of broken the record for keeping your eyes open for the longest amount of time and right when it was eye to eye with me I was able to jerk my body as hard as I could away, I caught my breath and thought thank god, but at the same time, WHY?! I'll never know what it was, and after catching my breath and hiding on the floor back towards the window, I slowly turned and looked out the window and it slowly headed back towards the sky. It didn't leave, it stuck around still floating, coming a little close but then going back, I waited a good amount of time but finally decided that I should brave up and go outside. Id go out there for like 1 minute then run back in, finally I decided that maybe I should explain how I was feeling, I know that sounds crazy but hey! I had to admit that what just happened HAPPENED so it couldn't be all that crazy that it could hear me or understand my emotions. It never came as close as it did but it stayed in the sky for a long time and eventually made its way back to the original spot in the sky that I first noticed it in. It stayed brighter than all the other stars for awhile but then eventually dulled down with the other stars. I've never had that exact experience occur again and just to note I wasn't on any mind altering substances. I know we can't be the only species in this universe but I'm not sure that it was ET either. There have been some strange things happening since then and I assume more to come. I haven't ever met anyone with a similar experience and was surprised to find this page and so many comments. I really don't think it was anything to be afraid of not feeling as though you have control over your body did freak me out. I know there is a lot of information out there about white lights, esp. with meditation. Your suppose to visualize white light filling up your body and flowing out of your head. So with that being said it has to be a good sign. Right?

Hi, I haven't really mentioned this to anyone except when I was a child and I have never had a white orb experience since. This is a vivid memory that stays with me. I must have been younger than 6 or 7 because I was at my cousin's home before her parents divorced. I only ever slept over there once and the rest of our childhood she lived with us or her grandmother and mom. I slept in her room between her and my sister and woke up in the middle of the night. I looked out the window and saw a bright white orb hovering around the top of a street light on the other side of the street as if it were inspecting it or dancing. It bounced slightly while it moved in a circle. They had a tiny home with no front yard if that gives you an idea of how far it was. My sister and cousin wouldn't wake up. After that everything is fuzzy and I can only assume I fell asleep. I believe it was bigger than a softball though and more like the size of the top of the lamppost.

I was walking through a cemetery about 7 years ago with a friend. It was dark out and we were strolling through not expecting to see anything. We were on our way back to the entrance when we suddenly stopped. A single, round, bright white light approximately the size of a volleyball (slightly smaller) darted up from the ground. It was so white with a halo glow all around it. It was such a beautiful white. We were completely stunned and asked each other if we were really seeing it! It hovered in the air for about 10 seconds then darted back down into the ground. We ran the heck out of there, partly because it was so unbelievable and partly because we were scared. I don't remember being scare while I watched it but once it disappeared I was frightened. I didn't know what it was but I know what I saw! We googled many pics of orbs on the internet but nothing compared to what we saw. Your description reminded me of this wonderful thing I was fortunate to see

hey i was just looking up any kind of information i could find on any type of absolutly any type of similar situation. Wellm this happened about 10 years ago in my Step-father/little brother's house, where i lived for a short period of time, before my brother was born. One night, not that late cause i was fairly young at the time, I was playing a board game with my mother, "Candyland" for those of you who are from my generation...lol. but we were sitting at the table across from each other. and it was a normal night and we were having fun. We were using a small desklap to see what we were doing and to light up the board and it was pretty much situated next to us but in between =us distance wise, right on the side of the board game. When for some reason, which i still cant understand why, my mother and I both just turneds for some reason towards the living room which was connected and adjacent but both rooms where both open, with no speration and in the living room there were 3 windows. I will also say that I know for a fact that all windows were closed that night. But when we both turned we suddenly saw what looked like a "BB" sized white ball of light, or orb, I don't know what to call it...but it was bright enough and defined for both of us to see it coming towards us and both being able to quickly follow it with our eyes as it flew across the 2 rooms,originating from somewhere near the furthest window. It flew right in between our faces, over the game board, and stuck the little desk lamp that we were using to see the game. With enough force to knock it off the table which was a good foot from the edge of it and hard enough to bust the lightbuld encased in the lamp hood that was made out of metal, and this was all before it hit the wall behind us and tghen the floor. I originally thought that someone was shooting a "BB GUN" pr maybe a Paintball gun and it came right through my window, Howecer we both checked the windows and all were tightly closed with no damage to the glass or the outside screens that were also down....that was the only time i have ever experienced anything like that...and have been looking around trying to see if anyone else has had something lie this happen to them....and if it is in fact something paranormal.

I appreciate the opportunity to finally be able to recount this story to others who have belief and situations that are similar where I wont be labeled as psychotic or a liar..

I live in upstate, rural New York. I've had two experiences with what I would call white balls of light. The last experience (three weeks ago), along with the fact that now I'm old enough to write about it, is why I'm commenting.

The first was when I was probably 7 years old. I was in my bed laying awake (ready to fall asleep) when I noticed a ball of fuzzy white light on my bedroom door. It was a little bigger than a golf ball. I watched it for many minutes, as it seemed to 'bounce' around. I knew enough to check if it were a light coming in from a window- it was not for sure. It 'went out' after probably 5 or 10 minutes. I have no explanation for it.

This last experience, as a sane 34 year old married man, intrigues me more; though the experience was much shorter. I was driving to my Tuesday night basketball at the Y, listening and singing (the way one might, alone in a vehicle) very passionately, loudly to Where I Belong, by Building 429. When I saw in the distance a glowing orb of light 'floating' in the top of a tree. While slowing down (from 60mph to 30 or so) and checking my bearings, no other cars or lights around, I observed this light. It did not move and it was 'sitting' at the top of, and 'in' this 75ft maple tree. The branches are bare (middle of winter). As I drove by, I kept looking at it, even as I drove past, it was definitely there! I wish I wasn't late for the basketball game, because I would have probably stopped and taken this in a bit longer! It appeared to be slightly oval like an egg but much bigger, probably 1-2 ft long.

Can't explain it but needed to share.

I experienced something similar to you but it didn't last for hours. it only lasted for about ten minutes. It was in 2008, the day after my best friend died. I went with family to the river and as I lay on the bed of a pick up truck, facing the night sky, i saw an orb, about 20 feet above me. it followed a straight line for about 3 seconds then stopped and hovered. then it followed the line for another few seconds and stopped, hovering. and then stopped above me, staying there for a while, as I questioned my sanity, speaking to the orb. Before it appeared, I spoke to my friend who had just passed, or the air, and asked for a sign she was still there, and then the light appeared. I can't make much sense of it. I had an experience similar to this in 2007 after another relative died, and I was in the car with my niece driving to Target. She saw it too, and we kept asking each other if the other saw it, and what was it, and what it couldn't be... both times I felt peace and curiosity

I know what you are talking about! About 10 years ago I was on my back deck talking on the telephone. I live in West Virginia and where my house sits there are hills on all four sides. I was looking into the dark - listening to the crickets and what not and off in the distance to my right I saw an orb just as you described. It was meandering. It didn't seem to have any set path but it never went too far away from where it had been. It was like a drunk casually walking up the road. It would go to the right a little and then to the left all the while going forward. So this orb is coming towards me! Still meandering. It travels through my yard and I am transfixed. I told my friend about it - he blew me off! After it passed me it continued and disappeared into the trees to my left! I have no idea what it was. It was beautiful!

I live south of Tampa where it is very humid, as these descriptions are, and me and my buddy were sitting outside smoking a dubie, and we saw a light in my neighbors yard that lives across the street. It was a ball if white light about the size of a baseball that floated until I focused on it, then it shot up into the trees. Me and my friend witnessed this on three different occasions. And what's kind of creepy is an owl used to come to my yard frequently when we smoked out front, he would be staring right at us when we noticed him. Something ill never forget.

hey:) I´m from Portugal (sorry about the bad english) and ten years ago I had an experience that still today I cant explain.

So... I had a boyfriend by then and we used to go to the woods to "spend the night"(my boyfriend passed away already) That would be just another night we thought. When I was getting closer to the place where we used to park the car, which was in the middle of some trees(we used to go to that same place a lot), i started to notice a weird light in the sky...like a flash and couldnt identify from where was coming. As soon as I stoped the car, getting ready to park I looked and saw this huge ball of light, around 2 meters above the floor, and 1 meter away from me, super white and bright, like it had a nucleous made of pure white light brighter than the edges... I felt that I could touch it, since it was so close and it was so big (maybe 8 times bigger than a soccer ball)

Stupidily, I simply panicked..wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, my boyfriend was also freaking out! And we left... We still wanted to spend the night somewhere and we decided to go to a completely different place (maybe 16 kms away). When we parked the car, the ball o light appeared again in the sky, it stopped a little bit, floating above the car but this time higher and looking smaller... and then moved to the front of the car very slowly and disappeared suddenly!!

We told this story to so many people, red so much stuff about balls of light...and never found a plausible explanation. In Portugal u have hundreds os people caliming they have seen balls of light, tones of webistes on the subject but all the descriptions just seem to me too different from the one I experienced.

Today (it´s my 29th birthday)I decided to visit the places where this story happened. Havent been there since that day and 10 years passed...

Thats the reason why today I found this post, was agaIn looking on the internet for some answers.

Going to the places I didn´t see or feel anything strange or special:) actually, dont know what I was expecting... What I know is that I would love to find a reasonable explanation!

During the Christmas Holiday my 11 year-old son and I drove through our local park to look at the Christmas lights. While driving around the park I noticed 5 or 6 large orbs in the sky. Initially I thought it might be a reflection of the Christmas lights or it could somehow be explained rationally. However, I noticed that these orbs in the sky hoovered in the sky over my vehicle as I drove through the park and on my drive home. When we arrived home the orbs were still hoovering over my vehicle. We get out of the vehicle and look at the orbs. We eventually went into our home and dismissed the experience as something that could be explained. I would like to note that when I stood outside of my vehicle looking up into the sky, the orbs were moving very fast within each other. I didn't feel scared or peace, just didn't understand what I seen. I would like to also note that since I seen the orbs life has been more peaceful and fulfilling for me. Maybe it was spirits with the intent to help me. Also I went to the doctor recently, as I have a kidney disorder, and for the first time in a long time my labs were good. Whatever it was I would like to know and understand what it was and why I seen it.

These stories are all a lot more interesting than my circumstance, but anyway...

I'm on the night shift. I usually get home 3:30 - 4 am. I recently got a new puppy and I couldn't help but start to video tape her with my phone a few times just to record her whacky behavior. The first time I recorded her I saw these small balls of light floating across the room. They're not like any kind of light I've seen before. They're dim but seem to glow around the edges. They float with some speed, but its not like they ZIP across the room. At first I thought these balls were reflections from the light from my camera. But even when I hold the phone still they move at the same speed, and there's nowhere for the light to reflect. The movements they make are sometimes straight and sometimes they float around in circles. A reflection would not do this. My dog always senses them too. She will get up and follow it as it floats by. At first it freaked me out. Just because the the paranormal has always made me uneasy. But then I thought that if they meant any harm they probably would have already done it.

I can only sense the balls when I'm looking through my phone and I can only capture them at night around 3 to 4 am. My dog seems to sense them with her naked eye. She will look up or down and follow the movement of something going by every once in a while at night and that's usually my cue to record. I know this experience isn't like others who have seen orbs with their own eyes with no cameras, but this is my story and I wouldn't be posting in this blog if it didn't happen to me. I also have the proof on my phone.

last night there was a small white light the size of a grapefruit on my ceiling. I looked up as it was hovering above me. There seemed to be small rays coming out of it. I was not afraid and turned over and went to sleep. My mom and aunt both died a few years ago and I assume it was one of them. But I dont know.

This is odd. My God Mother woke up around four this morning, and was having a huge erge to smoke. We live about three miles away from a small town on two acres of land with only a few neighbors surrounding us. She went out to smoke and about 15-20 feet within the woods was a orb of light, about the size of a softball, moving slowly back and forth and then it would move closer and then farther back. it was a steady light that did not shake, and a very clear white light nothing that a flashlight could process with barely any shadowing like a flashlight would give off. she stood there emobilized for a few moments and then ran inside to grab her husband, when they came back it was still there, doing the same pattern. it lasted until about 5:30 a.m. the past two nights she had had dreams about lights. the first dream was of light that was brighter then the sun which came shining through her windows at 1:30 a.m. and how her family was extremely weirded out by it. the second came the night of the light which was a dream of a lightbulb flickering on and off within a basement and she felt a odd presence. when she woke up she went outside and saw the light. she said it did not have any odd presence or feeling of energy but it gave her chills from the legs up. i am surprised to hear of all of these experiences, but happy we are not the only people with these experiences

Thank you, everyone's comments are making me feel better because I keep thinking, "am I crazy"? My story: I sleep right underneath my bedroom window which overlooks a quiet country road and woods. About 2 years ago, I woke up about 3 a.m. and in my half-sleep/half-waking state, I saw some lights in the sky out the window. They were varied in size--one was fairly large and white, like the orbs everyone's talking about, and it was surrounded by smaller ones. I then saw thin strands of light appear to shoot into my room. I was afraid and closed my eyes and fell back to sleep. Then several times since, I have woken up before dawn to see clusters of golden, transparent discs of light circling over me on the ceiling. The other night I saw this quite vividly and tried to focus--I was very sleepy at the time--and I couldn't focus very well, but I was very much aware and lucid, such that I had the presence of mind to look out the window. There was nothing out there but stars. But after that, I looked at my digital clock and the numbers were whirring around so fast it was a blur! That was enough to make me want to close my eyes and go back to sleep so I did. I woke up 3 hours later wondering what the heck was that?? I do not drink or take drugs of any kind. Someone with whom I have enormous respect, (a spiritual advisor of sorts)--told me: "that is help". I am choosing to believe they're angels....

Well, now I don't feel like such a nut....Ive had two experiences with this ball of light stuff..one night I was walking into my house and I happened to look to the right of my house, and in the distance I saw this white ball fall half way down through the sky and disappear. Wasn't like a shooting star shooting horizontally, it fell vertically. Maybe it was a piece of star falling heck if I know it just disappeared before it looked like it hit the ground. The next experience was when I was at my boyfriend's. His house is probably on a acre land with a LOT of trees surrounding it. No power lines around just two lamp poles at the end of the property on the street and one in the middle of the property. I was walking out to his car to get some can drinks that night that I forgot to bring in and I just happened to look up and I swear I saw this fairy ball....15 feet above me floating down to me. That's the best way to describe it. Just a little smaller than a soccer ball perfect circle illuminating ball thing that was slowly floating downwards to me and it scared the shite out of me. I ran, literally, ran back into the house and grabbed my boyfriend to come outside and look with me to figure out what it was. Of course there was NOTHING. I wish that I wasn't so scared but maybe next time I wont run now that I know others have experienced it too and haven't been hurt. I always tend to think things are a threat just because I don't understand them let along I am so surprised that I am actually seeing something that people wont believe when I tell them.

i had a brilliant, but confusing experience 2mths ago, it was daytime and i was at home with my other half, i walked into the kitchen and there i was met by around 10-20 marble sized balls of light they looked like they were solid and heavy but were transparant and floating in such a way that 1 it looked like a magic trick, my eyes saw it but brain couldnt except it and 2 they seemed to move as if alive, after watching for 3mins or so i blinked and they had simply vanished.

I have had 2 experiences with balls of light. They both occured at night.

The first - I was walking home at night with a friend and we were chatting away. I happened to look up, and at the height of the top of a lamp post I saw this glowing ball of light (an orange-white color) about the size of a soccer ball. It went in a quick zig zag pattern and then disappeared. It lasted only about 5 seconds but it is still imprinted in my memory. My friend missed it, as she wasn't looking up at the same time I was.

Second time - I was actually driving this time, and I saw the same phenomenon, but this time it was a smaller ball of light that glowed white. It had the same weird behavior as the last one but it stunned me. I had goosebumps head to toe, instantly.

Those are my experiences!

Hi everyone. I have truly enjoyed reading all of your comments about your experiences with orbs. I want to add my experiences with orbs too. I have seen two orbs. I am now thirty years old but the first time was when I was around ten years old. A very bright ball of light passed very slowly by my bed hovering about a foot off the ground. It was about the size of a large baseball. I was very terrified probably because I was just a child. I remember screaming for my mother in the dark. My room was on the top floor in the back of the house. Later, as an adult, my parents filled me in on alot of strange things that happened while we lived there. The second time was a totally different experience. It was about 8 years ago. My husband and I along with our two children were living in an extremely old house in the middle of the woods off of highway 55 West in Clover, SC. My infant daughter was sharing a room with us. I remember watching her sleep in her crib from my bed that was near the master bathroom door. I just laid down for the night. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the bathroom slowly light up. I looked in the bathroom doorway and saw a beautiful glowing ball hovering there. It was also about the size of a large baseball. It appeared to be solid. It was about three feet or so off the floor. I remember a feeling of peace and I was not frightened. I starred at in for several seconds and then it very quickly disappeared. It never went left to right or anything. It just floated in the same spot. I would love so much to see it again. I strongly feel that this was a positive energy and was not out to harm anyone. Right after this happened, we found out we were with child again. I have always wondered about what this beautiful ball of light was.

I am 62yrs old of sound mind.My girlfriend and I went to this former church for a rock concert.We went upstairs to the santuary to take pictures,about 20 moving orbs appeared in my digital camera,my girlfriend and I seen them at the same time,went to another concert there and there was orbs all over my photos,which I have to prove,and also I talk to the owner of the church and he seen thousands of orbs in the churchs bellfry.He has gotten ahold of tv ghost experts and they are going to come and check the church out,is that iteresting or what!!

Wow, I didn't realize so many people had the same experience or similar. Men has been a little different and whatever it is has been focused on my baby from 6mo old to now(2yrs). When she was about 6 mo old and could only say basic words, she would stop what she was doing, get very excited, say hi to something in the air, talk her baby jibberish and then " follow" something with her eyes into the next room, say bye, and then continue what she was doing. This happened a handful of times through our the months along with some other unusual activity. Now we have a baby monitor in her room that is also a video monitor. One night a couple weeks ago, she woke me and my husband up around 3am, she was talking. We look into the monitor just in time to see a golf size ball of white and green dash down the side of her in her crib. It's happened twice since. The last time being last night, i was watching her and the light was larger and floating above her, it actually stayed for about 10 sec this time. I've never dealt with anything like this before, so I called the manufacturer of the cam, thinking maybe it's a malfunction with the cam, and of course they thought I was crazy. It wasn't a reflection of anything. It's was quite beautiful. Whatever has been interested in my daughter for so long has never scared her so I'm hoping whatever it is has a friendly interest in her. I'm a Christian, I don't believe in ghosts or a I between life. I do believe in the spiritual world though of demons and angels. Anyone experience anything like this and actually find out who or what it is? I've done a bunch of research today along with talking to a couple pastors. If it a demon of some sort, it won't make itself present to me.

Just an update, I was advised by a pastor to pray over my daughter and her room yesterday, just incase there were evil spirits present. I did so right before I put her to bed. After I put her down for the night, about 20 min later, im looking in her video monitor and was there not only one orb this time but three! In thinking angel( good spirit). My daughter sat up followed them with her eyes and then layed down and went to sleep after they left. :) to the author of this blog... Have you found anything in your studies that can explain these things??

two nites ago I went to bed like at 2:30 am It took me a while to fall asleep but when I closed my eyes I could feel a presence in the room it did not feel like a bad presence I would open my eyes and see nothing then I would close them again and again I would feel the presence come near me again this went on for a while then being tired and this presence not letting me sleep I opened my eyes I had left the bedroom door open and I could look into the dinning room and into the kitchen it was pitch dark throught out the house I did this for a whilel then tried falling asleep again but could not because I felt this presence so I opened up my eyes again and looked outside the bedroom door there where 2 white circle the size of an orange on the floor I was in shock I felt and though it wanted me to go to where it was at felling deeply tired I did not get up and finally fell asleep when my boyfriend got up around 5 am I told him about what I saw and I turn of the lights in my room to see if I would see the 2 balls of light but did not see them again.

so my boyfriend went to the garage where he spends most of his time on the computer and since he had put a camara in my room to see that I am ok since he has also seen other entities he turn on the camara and the television and like an hour later he told me he saw a with light hover over my head board he came into the room to check on me but could not see the light he went back to the garage and looked at the camara and again he could see the light still hovering over my head board this is the first time I have ever seen anything like this.

So I hope like many you all subcribed to this so you can get updates on things. Well I will never stop untill i get my answers... So I saw this video today just released a few days ago. I find it one of the many videos out there that looks like what I saw when I had my experienced that night in the woods and I took my pictures. What I saw was a little different. I was about 5. I know that is young, but I know what I saw and have never forgotten it. I was siting out on our back steps one mild, overcast morning waiting on my mom to take my brother and sister to school. We had a detached garage with a tin roof. Two teardrop shaped droplets of pure white light about a foot long appeared around 8 feet above the roof, on either side of the ridge of the roof and fell silently for a few feet. They never made contact with the roof, but splattered silently like water into two rings a couple of feet from the tin. The rings expanded to a foot or so in diameter and then disappeared.The whole thing only lasted a second. I wasn't afraid, but rather amaZed at what I saw. But you can imagine the response a five year old got when I ran inside to tell my mom, so I just kept it to myself. I have never seen anything like it since.

Some eight years ago, my father and I saw dancing lights dancing within the trees at the back of my parents property in Melbourne, Australia.

My father is the most rational man from a scientific background, so he went following the lights. We were initially worried there was a bush fire, perhaps sparked by a looming electrical storm. One light turned into two and shortly three lights were bouncing around the trees.

As soon as we got close enough to investigate, we were sure it wasn't fire, or local children playing at being 'fire bugs; they disappeared. We searched websites to discover the Min Min Lights, the anomalous nocturnal lights seen throughout Australia. Rarely in Eastern Australia.

We've not seen anything like it since, but my father and I sure have a story to tell. Lucky we saw it together.

When i was 18. About ten yrs ago. I was sleeping at my boyfriends house and kept getting woken up. While growing up my parents said if something is bothering you when you sleep to say in your mind go to the light i kept doing this every time i woke up. I started to get annoyed. At this time the room was still pitch black. The third time i was pissed and sat up in bed only to see 3 balls of light. I felt they were trying to play with me. I was freaked out and watched them as the middle one would move forward and then back up the two side ones would come forward then back and so on. Till finally the middle one came so close to my face i screamed and my bf jumped out of bed and put the lights on. I have never slept down there again. No one has ever seen them in the basement. My dad said they try to get inside your body. Never believed him till i seen with my own eyes. Hw use to walk around at night when i was a kid. Always just thought he was crazy

REVISED : A couple weeks ago Driving on the highway thru the mountains in Tennesee at night I saw a white light like softball size shoot across the highway went from the trees on one side straight across to the trees on the other side. I know it wasn't a Alien UFO but Im not sure what it was. I kind of thought maybe I had been driving too long and im hallucinating, but Im quite positive I wasnt. Never seen anything like it before. Couldnt explain what the white orb was just that I saw it fly straight in front of me. It wasnt raining or any other weather just a clear normal night.

Thanks for sharing your experience. When I was a kid maybe 6 years old about 18 years ago I saw something similar, but a little different. My family lived in a suburban neighbourhood outside Toronto, Ontario at the time. My brother and I decided to go play in the basement of our house. We opened the basement door and there was a ball of light floating a couple meters infront of us in the dark. It was about the size of a basketball and the light was a little diffuse. It didn't move and we froze with fear for a minute. We were so freaked out we closed the door and ran to the kitchen to tell our mom. We then returned to the basement to show her but this time when we opened the door it was gone! She never got to see it and I never saw anything like it again, but I know I wasn't just "seeing things" because my bro saw it too. I wish there was some explanation...

I have been thinking about and wondering about this for years. 1998. I was just leaving a restaurant in Naperville Il with two friends. As we walked out the door,one of the friends was holding the door open with her back as she continued to talk to the two of us. The two of us facing the parking lot witnessed a large ball of light that looked like the moon. It shot down towards us so quickly we had no time to react just stood there stunned It got to about street lamp level and shot back up quickly and disappeared. We had tears welling up in our eyes and the friend holding the door never saw a thing, except for our reaction. The strangest part of this was when I got home. .I couldn't wait to tell my husband, who had just gotten back from the theater with our 4 year old " oh my God you are never going to believe what I just saw tonight" I said. He looked at me and said" A light that came out of the sky, and shot back up?". OMG I was stunned again!! He said he was driving home, and turned back to look at our daughter in the back seat to see if she had fallen asleep and when he turned back around, that is when the ball of light came at him. Again it happened so quickly he had no time to react or be alarmed. What the heck did we witness??? To this day I am so baffled by it!

Ive had this happen to me twice. When I was about 12 or 13 I was playing in my room with my brother who was at the time about 10. We were playing on my bed wich was right next to the window. It was a nice night out during the summer so my windows were open. My brother and I started to look out the window and out of no where a bright light appeared about 50 feet above us in the ski. I asked my brother if he was seeing what I was seeing and he said yes. It wasn't a star or a street light. It was the size of a soccer ball. It didnt move for about 2 minutes we felt like it knew we were looking at it, then all of a sudden it rushed towards us. My brother and I screamed and hid

parents thought we were just goofing off. The light had

disappeared. When I was 22 I was in a car with my father on I70 heading west coming from Denver CO to Summit County. My father was driving and I was in the passenger seat it was about 6 or 7 PM in the summer so it was just about to get dark out but still light enough that we could see the mountains. Then again I saw the light in front and above the vehicle about 100 feet up. I remember there were othere cars on the highway. I told my dad to look up and he agreed that he saw what I was seeing. Then again it rushed towards us with such a speed we thought it would break the windshield. We both screamed. My dad remembers holding tight to the steering wheel and the light passed thru the windshield and diss appeared between the drivers seat and the passengers seat. I remember I screamed and closing my eyes as the light was passing thru the windshield. About 1/2 an hour drive just about Georgetown on I70 it felt like I had come to? I can't explain it. Like I was lost in thought. I looked at my dad who was driving and he had this weird look on his face. He noticed I was looking at him and he asked me if I was ok. I said yes and I asked him if he had seen what I saw and he said he was about to ask me the same. I am 30 now and I haven't seen anything since. For a while I thought these memories were dreams but I called my brother in Calgary and he remembers the same. He also thought he had dreamed it. I asked my dad and he remembers. What we don't remember is what happened after the light went thru the windshield. I don't know if it was a UFO or ghost or something else.

seven years ago i was walking along a disused railway which is no longer there now, but i was walking my dog,i remember feeling ill at the time,id walked a few hundred yards when i looked up in the sky,a bright light flashed in my eyes.

it literally froze me for what seemed a few hours but in fact it was just a second or two, but when i came to from that i carried on my walk down that track as if i hadnt felt poorly at all.now i dont believe in aliens,but was brought up th believe in angels as i was brought up religious, but after that day i kept to myself because i felt that if id said something i would have been looked at as if i was mad.and im not mad at all.

One time i was sleeping it was already about 3:00am and i have no idea what woke me up or even how but next thing know i see this whit orbit right on top of my stomach then it starts to go up very slowly. i,m stunned looking at it my eyes were practicably glued to it then it wanished into the ceiling i personaly think it was my big brother luis taking care of me and that makes me feel good.

It is so nice not to be alone! Also- to have people experience the light in cars too! A friend of mine and I were driving down the Seawall and a ball of light came out of the sky (from East) and came thru the car. We both saw it coming and were commenting on how this ball of light coming from the sky looks like it coming toward us and then WHAM... flash of light in the car and then all was normal! I do remember hearing a screeching of tires of a mini van that was exiting out of the San Luis Resort. I wonder to this day if that ball of light saved us from a wreck?...or did they screech their tires because they saw the light too? Immediately after the flash of light I kept saying out loud.. "Thank you Lord Jesus for saving us." I said it a bunch of times. Anyway- we proceeded to the Surf Bar and told everyone but I don't think they really believed us.

Camping in the Pisgah Mountains of NC 05/13/2012. I woke up at 2:30 am to go to the bathroom and looking across an open field about 50 yards away in the tree line. I first saw 3 white lights about the size of grapefruits they were like a soft cloudy white but bright at the same time. They would appear then disappear quickly then appear in different place. Because I had just woke up I stood there for a few minutes to make sure what I was seeing. I stood there for about 2 minutes and the lights increase some high, some low really pretty much all over that area they were not uniformed in any way. They would be bright then go out and I could see a trail on some of them. I got kind of scared because all of a sudden there were a lot of them and at that time one of our dogs that was outside started barking, so I got her and went in the tent.

When I was in the tent all I could think was I sure hope someone else is seeing this. I laid there for about 10 mins then another one of our dogs that was in the tent next to me started growling and barking, he got out of his tent and came into mine with the other dogs, when he came in the tent door the stayed cracked open and then I started to see a laminating light coming through the crack in the door and laminating the tent.

I laid there for about 15 minutes and watched. Still hoping someone else was seeing this. I did want to go out or even open a window, because at this time I had 3 dogs in my tent and I really didn’t want to get them all going crazy and barking. Looking back now I wish I would have went back outside and observe what was going on.

In the morning I was the first up and when my sister woke up I asked her if she got up last night she said she woke up and I said did you go outside she said no. I started to tell her when I woke up to go to the bathroom I saw these lights right way she says I saw something laminating my tent and I heard Lucy bark and I thought you were up walking around with a flash light. Then she said "I was trying to figure out what you were doing and I was thinking to myself why is she starting the fire again". After exchanging the complete story with her and all the other campers I am convinced what I saw was some kind of phenomenon that I can't even began to explain.

Hey there my husband told me years before i met him that him and some mates were watching a movie and when it finished some went into the kitchen while he remained in the lounge. a few minutes later he heard the shouting coming from the kitchen and then a light came through the wall and had a tail that followed around corners as though it was checking the room out then it went trough another wall and left. he says it was an orb. some of the mates remember and some dont. couple nighta after we met we were cuddling up in the dark drifting off to sleep when we both felt the presence and heard the hum and couldnt move. it was just the other night that we were in bed and this light the size of a volley ball appeared and lit the room p then as we looked at it, it flashed then dissappeared. we did not feel scared or hear anything at the time but now its been a few days im a bit annoyed. we lock our doors

yes i have had my own contact with one that keeps coming back every night

scares the be jesus out of me everytime it comes down to me it starts out as a fint light way up in the sky but it's like it knows im outside late at night and fly's down to me . the first time it did this it got really close to me then i ran and it took off aswell .Now i see them and don't stick around to find out what it wants . this has been going on for days ( what should i do )
